Drone Charging Log Calculator

Enter your batteries and charger to see the charging rotation โ€” the logistics behind every shooting day.

How the drone charging calculator works

The rotation equation

Continuous flight needs: (charge time รท flight time) + 1 batteries. A 70-minute charge against 20-minute flights requires 4โ€“5 batteries minimum. Fewer means gaps โ€” the shoot-day schedule lives or dies on this ratio, and the calculator makes it explicit before the shoot, not during.

Charging infrastructure

The stock charger charges sequentially (slow); multi-battery hubs charge in sequence automatically; car inverters and high-watt PD banks enable field rotation. The wattage input is honest about taper โ€” the last 20% slows just like phone math. LiPo storage discipline (store at ~60%) applies between shoots.

The shoot-day schedule

Arrive with everything at 100%, fly the fleet down, then the rotation begins: charge in sequence while flying the freshest. The calculator's gap line tells you whether lunch is a break or a charging session โ€” the difference between 4 and 5 batteries, usually.
